Our History

In 1982, Longonot Place Limited was formed and construction of the
apartments started. The same were completed in 1984.
The apartments were managed by the Block Hotels Group from 1984 to 1989.
A total refurbishment of the apartments was carried out in 2018

I recently stayed at Longonot Service Apartment for almost two months. Overall, my experience was quite positive. The apartment was well-maintained, and the facilities were up to the mark. The location is convenient, and the amenities provided were satisfactory.However, there were a few issues that significantly affected my stay. The housekeeping manager was very rude and unprofessional. On one occasion, she called me to complain about dirty sheets. As a paying guest, I found this approach inappropriate and disrespectful.Additionally, there is a problem with the hotel's respect for privacy. Even when I had the "Do Not Disturb" sign on my door, I was still called or had my door knocked on multiple times. This lack of respect for guest privacy was quite frustrating.On a positive note, the cleaning lady, Josephine, was very professional. Her work was thorough and she was always polite and respectful, which made my stay more comfortable.Despite the issues with the housekeeping manager and privacy disturbances, the rest of the staff, including Josephine, were courteous and helpful. If the management can address these concerns, it would greatly enhance the overall experience for guests.

Here in this hotel with your relatives, I felt this at the beginning with the receptionist and every day with the girls who specialize in cleaning the room. They are really always smiling, and when I ask to postpone the cleaning for an hour until I can rest, they come on time. The hotel rooms are large, clean, and professionally equipped, and all the lighting can be controlled. Lighting levels are high or low, the price is very reasonable for the level of the hotel. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, safety, cleanliness, a good price and an excellent location in Nairobi.

My stay was great however there was a bit of noise from the restaurant late night but I'm glad that was sorted out after informing the receptionist. I'll definitely be back

Great location. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful.However, washing machine is not provided for 1 bedroom apartment. And the shared washing machine was EXTREMELY FILTHY!!! No word can describe how dirty the washing machines were. No one ever checks them. The dirt was thick that I had to clean it myself then a housekeeping staff came to clean them but did not understand what had to be cleaned in a washing machine. Please pay attention to it dear Managers of Longonot place.The hotel also did not have mosquito repellent, two nights we had asked. Had to buy our own at 2:00amSafe location. Breakfast need to be improved

I wish the restaurant didn't play extremely loud music or at least it was enclosed so guests could sleep at night. It's not illegal to play loud music all night long? Otherwise safe clean friendly place.

Lovely place, best location and very clean. Best for vacation or party lovers.Used to be quiet pre covid. but now if for a busy business trip or church convention you will not sleep at night. Mawimbi plays loudly till morning. Should guests sleep at all?

Excellent place and very convenient, front desk(esp.Miss Nganga Mary) staff is extremely efficient ,pleasant and helpful. Property is clean an has a fantastic ambiance.The location is good,the place is safe and convenient for morning jogging, however i expected a smart TV to enable me to watch more channels.
